Assistive technology

VisionSense

An obstacle-awareness system for people with visual impairments. A chest unit uses LiDAR and a VL53L0X time-of-flight ranging sensor to detect nearby obstacles, then sends warning data by Bluetooth to a wrist unit that provides vibration alerts.
